Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information Fluent Tales (“we”, “us”) collects when you visit fluent-tales.com, how it's used, who it's shared with, and the choices you have. We don't require an account and we don't sell your personal information.
Information you give us
- Waitlist sign-ups. If you join the “Keep me posted” list, we store your email address and the date you signed up. We use it only to tell you when new features launch.
- Contact form. If you send us a message, we store your name, email address, message and the date it was sent, and use them only to reply and to improve the site.
This information is stored in Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore), hosted by Google in the United States. To have your email address or messages deleted, contact us and we'll remove them.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our hosting provider (Google Firebase Hosting) automatically processes technical information such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages you request, in order to deliver the site and keep it secure.
Advertising and cookies
We use Google AdSense to show ads, which keeps Fluent Tales free. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.

- Third parties, including Google, may place and read cookies on your browser, or use web beacons or IP addresses, to collect information as a result of ad serving on this site.

Other third-party services
- YouTube. Episode pages embed our videos from YouTube. When you play an embedded video, YouTube (Google) may set cookies and collect usage data under the Google Privacy Policy.
- Google Fonts. Our fonts are loaded from Google's servers, which receive your IP address in order to deliver them.
- Buy Me a Coffee. The support button is provided by Buy Me a Coffee. If you choose to support us, your payment is handled entirely by them under their own privacy policy; we never see your payment details.
Children
Fluent Tales is intended for adult and teenage English learners and is not directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us their information, contact us and we'll delete it.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to object to how it's used. To make any request, contact us. We'll respond within 30 days.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Significant changes will also be noted on the home page.
